The Oppo slider smartphone concept, designed in collaboration with Tom Ford, has surfaced in leaked renders showing a rollable phone whose display scrolls in and out. The images suggest Oppo may be exploring several concept devices that use rollable screens. It follows last month's Oppo X 2021 concept, which extended sideways, but this new model rolls up and down for a more pocket-friendly shape.
The renders were shared by LetsGoDigital, which says the images were obtained from company documentation. When the screen is retracted, the device is small and squarish, designed to slip easily into a pocket.

The screen pulls out from the top edge, making the phone taller when extended. According to the report, the display area grows by roughly 80 percent once the screen is rolled out. The edges of the display are rounded.
Two golden pull tabs sit on the sides to help roll the screen out, and the report notes the phone can even be hung around the neck.

Cameras, materials and the selfie question
A triple camera setup sits at the back, with the sensors aligned horizontally in the top centre of the module. The rear appears to use a soft leather finish, while the area around the cameras has a wood grain texture.
Engraved below the sensors are the words 'Oppo X Tom Ford - Design for concept Shakira'. The phone has a metal frame, and the SIM tray is built into the right edge.
Notably, no front sensor is visible anywhere in the renders, leaving the selfie setup an open question. One possibility is that rolling out the phone exposes an extended back portion that could hold a second screen for selfies and video calls. An in-display camera is another option.
