A new Micromax phone spotted on BIS

Micromax is preparing to launch another smartphone in India soon. The company has not yet lifted the official curtain on the device, but it has already been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification site.

On BIS, the phone is listed with the Micromax E7748 model number. The name of the phone has not appeared on the website, but the listing makes clear that a new Micromax smartphone is heading to the Indian market.

This will be the third device in the company's IN series, following the recent debut of the Micromax In Note 1 and the Micromax In 1b.

How the IN series targets Indian buyers

Micromax recently launched two affordable smartphones, the Micromax In Note 1 and the Micromax In 1b, raising fresh hope among Indian mobile users. With these handsets, the company took direct aim at Chinese rivals and positioned its phones as Made in India devices.
