Redmi, the brand under Chinese smartphone Xiaomi, has launched the smartwatch for the first time. Redmi has launched this smartwatch along with the Redmi Note 9 5G series.
The dial of the Redmi Smart Watch is of square shape and it also has a variety of fitness features. This smartwatch is of budget category and NFC has been supported in it.
The Redmi Watch has a 1.4-inch display. Support for auto-brightness is also provided in the display. There are many types of pre-installed fitness modes in it. There is also a heart rate monitor in this watch.
Redmi Watch can be connected with the Mi Fit app. It also has the support of 120 watch faces. That is, you can set a watch face in it according to your own.
Talking about the features of the Redmi Watch, it has seven sports modes. These include running, cycling and indoor swimming. The heart rate sensor given in it monitors the heart rate 24 hours. According to the company, it will also report full 30-day heart rate monitoring.
Sleep monitor has also been provided in Redmi Watch and it will also give users the equipment for breathing exercises. However, there is no oxygen level monitor in it nor does it have features like ECG.
Redmi Watch can provide 7 days battery backup. Such is the company’s claim. If you use less then you can remove the battery backup even for 12 days. Its battery is 230mAh and it can be fully charged in 2 hours.
Redmi Watch has been launched in China at the moment. It has been priced at 299 yuan here. When it will be brought to India is not clear. Since India is a big market for Redmi, the company can also launch it in India.
