The Lamborghini wireless headphones mark the Italian automaker's first move into the audio industry, created in partnership with New York audio company Master & Dynamic. The lineup includes the MW65 over-ear headphones and the MW07 Plus True Wireless Stereo earphones, both built using materials drawn from Lamborghini's iconic sports cars. They have launched in Europe.
Lamborghini wireless headphones built from sports car materials
The MW65 headphones and MW07 Plus earphones are designed using premium materials more often found on a supercar than on audio gear. These include alcantara, sapphire glass, Italian acetate, anodized aluminum and stainless steel.
The collaboration brings Lamborghini's design language into gadgets for the first time, pairing automotive craftsmanship with Master & Dynamic's audio engineering.
Price and color options
The MW65 headphones are priced at EUR 499 (about Rs 44,100). They come in several finishes, including gunmetal/black leather, black metal/black leather, silver metal/brown leather, silver metal/gray leather and silver metal/navy leather.
The MW07 Plus earphones are priced at EUR 349 (around Rs 30,800). Buyers can choose from Black/Matte Black, Polished White/Matte Silver and Matte Black/Matte Black earphone and case combinations.
MW65 headphone specifications
The MW65 uses 40mm beryllium drivers and offers two modes of noise cancellation. The high-power mode is designed for city streets, airplanes and noisy environments, while the low-power mode suits quieter or ventilated spaces. Turning off active noise cancellation makes passive noise reduction active. A Google Assistant is also built in.
For calls, the headphones use dual microphones to filter out external noise. They offer 24-hour battery life and include a 3.4mm optional cable. The company says 15 minutes of charging delivers 12 hours of backup. Connectivity is Bluetooth v4.2, and the earpads use lambskin foam.
