Tenda has launched two new Tenda 4G LTE Advanced pocket mobile Wi-Fi hotspots in India, the 4G 180 and the 4G 185. The networking equipment company designed these compact devices for people working from home and from small office, home office (SOHO) setups during the Covid lockdown, giving them a portable way to reach areas where regular Wi-Fi signals struggle.

Both pocket devices deliver a secure internet connection and high-speed packet access, with download speeds of up to 150 Mbps over a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi frequency via 4G. Each one packs a 2100mAh rechargeable battery, rated for a minimum of 10 hours and up to a full week of use.
They are built to travel. The 4G 180 weighs 86 grams and the 4G 185 weighs 88 grams, so either fits easily in a pocket for trips and outdoor activities.

4G 180 vs 4G 185: the key difference
The main distinction between the two is the display. The 4G 185 has a 1.44-inch color screen that shows 4G/3G signal bars, internet status, battery, the operator profile, SMS, time, traffic data used, Wi-Fi status, and the number of connections.
The 4G 180 instead uses an LED indicator. It shows 4G/3G signal and internet across four bars, plus battery, SMS, and Wi-Fi status.
