Samsung has introduced its new range of curved Odyssey G9 and G7 gaming monitors built to redefine the gaming experience through comfortable curvature, immersive interaction and sharp picture quality. The range spans the industry-leading 49-inch G9 and the G7 in 32-inch and 27-inch sizes. Both are designed to take immersive gaming to the next level.
These are the world's first 1000R gaming monitors, meaning a 1,000-millimetre curvature radius that helps reduce eye strain. The displays have been certified by the international certification organisation TÜV Rheinland, earning Samsung the industry's first high-performance 1000R Curved Display and Eye Comfort Certificate.

The 49-inch G9 is the world's first dual-quad high-definition (DQHD) gaming monitor. It runs a 5120 x 1440 resolution at a 32:9 aspect ratio with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, using a VA panel with HDR1000 and a peak brightness of 1000 cd/m2. Its quick response and high refresh rate, combined with the 1000R curve, eliminate interruptions and lag for smooth screen transitions.
The G7 carries the same quick response time, high refresh rate and deep curved display into smaller 32-inch and 27-inch models. It offers quad high-definition (2560 x 1440) resolution at a 16:9 aspect ratio on an HDR600 VA panel with 600 cd/m2 peak brightness. Its QLED screen with quantum dot technology delivers a wide range of precise colour that stays crisp even in bright light.
