Vivo launches mid-range Y300i smartphone with 6500mAh battery, up to 512GB storage, know the price and specifications

Vivo has launched its new Y series smartphone Vivo Y300i in China. This phone is an upgraded version of last year’s Vivo Y200i, which has key features like 6.68-inch 120Hz LCD display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, 6500mAh battery, and 5G support. This phone comes with 50MP rear camera, stereo speakers, and 44W fast charging. Here we are giving you information about its price and specifications.

Vivo Y300i price, availability

Vivo Y300i has been launched in three storage variants. The 8GB + 256GB model has been priced at CNY 1499 (about Rs 18,000), while the 12GB + 256GB variant will be available for CNY 1599 (about Rs 19,200). The top variant 12GB + 512GB is priced at CNY 1799 (about Rs 21,600). Pre-booking of this phone has started in China, and its sale will start from March 14. Vivo Y300i has been introduced in Jade Black, Titanium and Rime Blue color options. No information has been revealed yet about its availability in India and other global markets.

The Vivo Y300i has a 6.68-inch HD + LCD display, which includes a 120Hz refresh rate. For performance, this phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, which is built on 4nm technology. The chipset is paired with Adreno 613 GPU. Vivo has given it the option to expand it up to 12GB of physical RAM and up to 24GB with virtual memory expansion. The phone supports up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Talking about the camera department, the Vivo Y300i has a 50MP primary camera with LED flash. However, it does not have an ultrawide or depth sensor. The front of the phone has a 5MP selfie camera, which is set in a punch-hole cutout.

The biggest feature of the Vivo smartphone is its 6500mAh battery, which supports 44W fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G (SA/NSA), dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port. Vivo has supported stereo speakers and USB-C audio in it, but it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is integrated into the power button. The thickness of the phone is 8.09mm – 8.19mm and the weight is between 205-206 grams, depending on its color option.
