Moto G 5G (2025) and Moto G Power 5G (2025) have been launched in the US. Both smartphones come with a 5,000mAh battery and work on MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. These are the 2025 versions of the existing Moto G and Motor G Power and are upgraded with some latest specifications. Moto G 5G (2025) has been launched in the US at a starting price of US $ 199.99 (about Rs 17,300). At the same time, the price of Motor G Power 5G (2025) has been kept at US $ 299.99 (about Rs 25,900). The sale of the former will start from January 30, while the latter will be made available in the US from February 6. At the same time, the sale of both will start in Canada from May 2.

Moto G 5G (2025) and G Power 5G (2025), both smartphones run on Android 15-based My UX skin. They get MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The Moto G 5G (2025) sports a 6.7-inch HD+ (720 x 1,604 pixels) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Moto G Power 5G (2025) sports a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,388 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Moto G 5G (2025) and Moto G Power 5G (2025) feature 50-megapixel quad pixel primary rear sensors. The more affordable G 5G sports a 2-megapixel secondary macro sensor, while the G Power sports an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter. For selfies and video calls, both smartphone models are equipped with a 16-megapixel front shooter.

Both Motorola smartphones are backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The Power 5G also includes 15W wireless charging support. Both get stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. They have side-mounted fingerprint sensors. The 5G smartphones come with Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. While the Moto G 5G features a water-repellent build, the Power variant features an IP68+IP69 rated build for water and dust protection and is also military-grade MIL-STD 810H certified. The Moto G 5G (2025) is 8.16mm thick and weighs 193 grams, while the Power 5G (2025) is 8.72mm thick and weighs 208 grams.
