Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design: Smartphone launched with 24GB RAM, 1TB storage, 200MP camera, know the price

Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design has been launched in China. This is the third model of the Magic 7 series, which is slightly different from the Pro model of the series in looks, but comes with almost identical specifications. The new Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design gets Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition chipset. As the name suggests, this special edition shows the design elements of the Porsche car. Another feature of this is the 200MP telephoto camera included in it. The phone comes equipped with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design price

Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design has been introduced in Agate Gray and Provence Purple shades. It gets two variants, of which the base variant gets 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, which is priced at 7,999 yuan (about Rs 93,000) in China. There is also a top-of-the-line 24GB RAM and 1TB storage configuration, which is priced at 8,999 yuan (roughly Rs. 1,05,000).

Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design specifications

The Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design is being shipped with Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0. It gets a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,280 x 2,800 pixels) LTPO OLED display, which supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits HDR peak brightness. It gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition chipset, paired with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

The Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design features a triple rear camera unit, which includes an OIS-supported 1/1.3-inch 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The periscope shooter supports up to 100x digital zoom and 3x optical zoom. On the front, it has a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 3D depth camera.

The handset is IP69 and IP68-rated for dust and water resistance. It gets a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor along with 3D face unlocking. The phone supports two-way Beidou satellite text messaging, which allows users to communicate via satellite systems when there is no ground network signal. At the time of writing, this feature is limited to the Chinese market.

The Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design packs a 5,850mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging, 80W wireless fast charging, and wireless reverse charging. The phone is claimed to have achieved the Swiss SGS Multi-Scenario Gold Label five-star glass scratch and drop resistance certification. Its Glory King Kong Giant Rhino Glass coating is advertised to be 10 times more scratch-resistant and 10 times more drop-resistant than Honor King Kong Giant Rhino Glass and ordinary glass with the same weight carrier.
