Dual screen 5G phone Lava Agni 3 launched, will take selfies with 50MP camera

Indian mobile company Lava, showcasing its strength, has introduced a new smartphone of ‘Agni’ series, Lava Agni 3 5G. The brand has called it India’s 1st dual AMOLED Display smartphone with AMOLED screen on both the front and back. Coming in the range of Rs 20 thousand to Rs 25 thousand, the powerful and premium smartphone Lava Agni 3 has given a tough challenge to its opposition mobile brands.

Design of Lava Agni 3

The look of Lava Agni 3 makes it different and special from others. This is a dual display phone with screens on both the front and back panels. The secondary display of the phone is installed in the rear camera setup, which the company has named Insta Screen. AMOLED panel has also been used on this small screen. Calls, messages and other notifications can also be seen and accessed from the secondary screen of Lava Agni 3. Not only this, the media content present in the phone can also be played from this display. The phone camera can also be operated through this insta screen, due to which users can also click selfies from the rear camera setup.

Price of Lava Agni 3

Lava Agni 3 has been launched with 8 GB RAM which will be available for sale with 128 GB storage and 256 GB storage. The rate of the largest model of the phone is Rs 24,999. Whereas 128 GB memory variant can be purchased for Rs 22,999. Those users who do not want to buy a charging adapter with the phone, will be able to get the base variant for Rs 2,000 less i.e. Rs 20,999. Lava Agni 3 5G phone will be sold in Heather Glass and Pristine Glass colors.

Specifications of Lava Agni 3

Display: Lava Agni 3 5G phone supports a 6.78-inch 1.5K display with ‎2652 x 1220 pixels resolution. This is a 3D Curved AMOLED screen which works at 120Hz refresh rate. Lava has equipped its mobile with an in-display fingerprint sensor and it also has Widevine L1 support for watching movies, web series on Netflix and OTT apps.

1.74-inch secondary screen is provided on the back panel of the phone. It is a 2D AMOLED display that supports 336 x 480 pixels resolution. As we have already mentioned, it can be used for taking selfies with the rear camera, replying to calls and messages, notifications, music control, alarm, timer, stop watch, fitness tracker.

Processor : Lava Agni 3 5G phone has been launched on MediaTek Dimensity 7300X octa-core processor. It is a CPU built on 4nanometer fabrications and includes Arm Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores running at clock speeds of up to 2.5GHz. For gaming enthusiasts, Lava has equipped this smartphone with Large Vapor Chamber Cooling technology which protects the phone from heating up during heavy gaming.

Memory : Lava Agni 3 5G phone has been launched with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM. This phone has been provided with 8GB Extended RAM technology by the company, which together with the physical RAM of the mobile will give it the power of 16GB RAM. This phone can be purchased with 128GB and 256GB memory and both these variants will work on UFS 3.1 storage technology.

Camera : Lava Agni 3 supports triple rear camera for photography. On its back panel, there is a 50MP Sony IMX766 OIS sensor equipped with LED flash which works together with 8MP Ultrawide and 8MP Telephoto lens. This camera also has 3X Optical Zoom, 4K@30fps video recording and EIS support. Whereas Lava Agni 3 5G phone has 16MP Front Samsung Sensor for selfie and video calling.

Battery : For power backup, Lava Agni 3 5G smartphone has been launched in the market equipped with a strong 5,000 mAh battery. According to Lava, after full charge, it can provide standby time of about 360 hours i.e. 15 days. To charge this big battery faster, the mobile phone has been equipped with 66W fast charging technology. The company claims that it can charge the battery 50% in approximately 19 minutes and from 0 to 100% in 53 minutes.

Other Features : Lava Fire 3 supports 14 5G Bands. For connectivity, it has options like Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.4 and OTG. This mobile also supports NavIC. To protect against water and dust, it has been made IP64 certified.
