Acer launches gaming laptop Nitro V 16 in India, know specifications, price

Acer, one of the big hardware companies, has launched its first AI focused gaming laptop Nitro V 16. It has AMD’s Ryzen R7 8845HS series processor with 16 GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce 4060 GPU. This laptop has a 16 inch display and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The company has said that it has been provided with a dual-fan cooling system.

The price of Nitro V 16 is Rs 1,09,990. It has been made available in Obsidian Black color. This e-commerce site is listed on Flipkart. It will also be sold through Acer’s exclusive stores. You can get a discount of Rs 1,500 on purchasing this laptop using debit and credit cards of HDFC Bank, HSBC, IDFC First Bank and OneCard. Nitro V 16 runs on Windows 11 Home out-of-the-box. It features a 16-inch WQXGA (1,920×1,200 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate of 165 Hz.

This laptop has a Ryzen 7 8845HS processor with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. Acer claims that it has a capacity of 233 tera operations per second for Artificial Intelligence (AI) tasks.  It has been described as Copilot+ certified laptop. It has 1 TB SSD storage. This laptop has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth options for connectivity. Apart from this, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB 4 port and an HDMI port are provided.

Its 59 Wh battery supports 135 W charging. The company claims that its battery can last for seven hours. Its size is 362.3 x 239.89 x 23.5 mm and weight is about 2.5 kg. Last week the company launched Chromebook Plus 15 and Chromebook Plus 14. These laptops are for standard users as well as enterprise customers. These have full HD LCD display. These laptops come with Intel and AMD Ryzen processors with 16 GB RAM and up to 512 GB storage. The price of the base variant of 8 GB + 256 GB of Chromebook Plus 15 is Rs 44,990. The price of Chromebook Plus 14 starts from Rs 35,990. These laptops can be customized with processor, memory, storage and display configurations for enterprise customers.
