Sony has launched its new earphones Sony WF-1000XM5. Active noise cancellation i.e. ANC is supported with QN2e processor in Sony’s new Truly Wireless Stereo earbuds. Buds is equipped with the latest integrated processor V2. The Sony WF-1000XM5 features the new Dynamic Driver X and offers support for Deep Neural Network (DNN) processing for better call quality. Sony WF-1000XM5 Price

Sony WF-1000XM5 has been introduced in two color options – Black and Silver. The price of Buds has been kept at $ 299 (about Rs 24,447). At present, no information has been given by the company about when these earphones will be launched in India.

Specifications of Sony WF-1000XM5

Sony’s latest buds are equipped with the company’s latest integrated processor V2 which is paired with the QN2e processor for noise cancellation. There is also support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The new Dynamic Driver X is available with the buds. The company says that with improved sound quality with buds, strong noise cancellation and better call quality are available.

Furthermore, the Sony WF-1000XM5 earphones are equipped with 24-bit audio processing, DSEE Extreme Upscaling Technology. In addition to SBC and AAC audio codecs, it also supports Sony’s LDAC codec for high-res wireless audio streaming. According to Sony, the Deep Neural Network (DNN) processing and bone conduction sensor on the new WF-1000XM5 earphones will deliver better call quality, even in louder ambient environments.

Speak to chat, adaptive sound control, multi point connect, fast pairing, Bluetooth version 5.3 with Google and Alexa assistant are also supported with Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds. The company claims that with Buds, there is a battery life of 12 hours in normal use and 8 hours of battery backup with ANC. Type-C port is available with buds for charging.
