MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor launched in India, will support 200MP camera in mid-range 5G smartphone.

MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor has been launched in India. This new processor is an upgrade version of MediaTek Dimensity 920. This new processor has been specially introduced for mid-range 5G smartphones. It has two Arm Cortex-A78 CPU cores, whose speed is 2.6 GHz. Arm Mali-G68 GPU is available with it. This processor provides great streaming, gaming and browsing experience in the smartphone.

The 6nm built-in MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor packs several power-saving benefits, which gives the device a longer battery life. Talking about its most important feature, this processor supports 200MP primary camera. Also MediaTek’s Imagiq image signal processor (ISP) has been given in it.

Not only this, all the latest camera features have been given in this processor, through which users can capture high-quality photos and videos in their smartphone. It has an HDR video recording engine, which processes up to 4K resolution.

Apart from photography and video, this processor is also going to prove to be great for gamers. It has been given HypgerEngine 3.0 for enhanced gaming, through which fast performance and great connectivity are available.

This latest processor can be found in Redmi Note 11 series-

In the latest leak, information has been received that this newly launched processor can be found in Redmi Note 11 smartphone. Tipster Abhishek Yadav has informed through Twitter that the Redmi Note 12 phone will be launched in China before November 11, 2022. Not only this, the tipster has also informed that the phone will be equipped with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor.

A 50MP ultra-wide camera will be given in this series of phones. However, the standard Redmi Note 12 phone will have an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro camera.

Redmi Note 12 Pro + offers 210W fast charging support, while the Pro model will get 120W fast charging support. Standard model Redmi Note 12 will get 67W fast charging support.
