Vivo has launched another cheap smartphone of the Y series in India. The price of this phone was revealed before the launch last week. Vivo has introduced this smartphone in two storage variants. Also, this phone has been launched in two color options – Stellar Black and Drizzlling Gold. Talking about the main features of the phone, features like MediaTek Helio P35 processor, 5,000mAh battery and dual rear camera setup are available in it. In this series, the company has also launched Vivo Y35 and Vivo Y22 in India in the past.

Talking about the features of this phone of Vivo, it has a 6.51 inch HD + display. Traditional waterdrop notch design has been given in the display of the phone. The resolution of its display is 1600×720 pixels. For security, this smartphone has a side mounted fingerprint sensor. Also, this phone also comes with features like face wake feature and eye protection mode.
MediaTek Helio P35 processor is available in Vivo Y16. This smartphone works on Android 12 based Funtouch OS 12. This phone comes in two storage options – 3GB RAM + 32GB and 4GB RAM + 64GB. The internal storage of the phone can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card. Apart from this, Extended RAM 2.0 will also be supported in this phone, with the help of which the phone’s RAM can be increased to 1GB.
This budget phone of Vivo comes with 5000mAh battery, with which 10W fast charging support is available. For connectivity in the phone, features like USB Type C port, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 have been provided. Talking about the camera feature, dual camera setup is available in it. The primary camera of this phone is 13MP. At the same time, its secondary camera is of 2MP. The phone has a 5MP front camera for selfie and video calling.

The base variant of Vivo Y16 is priced at Rs 9,999. At the same time, its top variant comes for Rs 12,499. This phone can be purchased from the company’s official store and partner retail store. A discount of Rs 1,000 is also being offered on the purchase of the phone. The company is offering this offer on cards of Kotak, IDFC, OneCard, BOB, Federal, AU Bank. Apart from this, cashback of up to Rs 750 is also being offered on HDFC Bank cards.
