MediaTek launches two 5G processors of Dimensity series, first glimpse can be found in Realme
MediaTek has launched two new 5G processors of the Dimensity series including MediaTek Dimensity 1200 and Dimensity 1100 5G. Both these processors are built on a 6-nanometer process. MediaTek claims that both these processors will get better artificial intelligence, better camera and strong multimedia features.
Of these, the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 supports cameras up to 200 megapixels. Right now companies like Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo and Realme are launching smartphones under the MediaTek Dimensity Series. It is being said that with these two new chipsets, Realme will first launch its smartphone in the market.
MediaTek Dimensity 1200 specification
The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 is an octa-core processor paired with an ARM Cortex-A78 Ultra core with a clock speed of 3GHz and Cache 2X L2. The other three cores are ARM Cortex-A78 with speeds up to 2.6GHz and four cores Arm Cortex-A55 with speeds up to 2GHz. It is supported by the Arm Mali-G77 MC9 GPU for graphics and up to 16GB of LDDR4x RAM. This processor supports displays up to 2520×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 168Hz.
Talking about the camera, MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G has a 200-megapixel sensor, 32-megapixel sensor and 16-megapixel sensor. For connectivity, it has support for Wi-Fi 6, multimode 5G, 4G, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2 and FM radio.
Specifications of MediaTek Dimensity 1100 5G The Dimensity 1100 5G has four Arm Cortex-A78 cores with a maximum speed of 2.6GHz and a four-core Arm Cortex-A55 core with a maximum speed of 2GHz. For processors, this processor includes the Arm Mali-G77 MC9 GPU and 16GB LDDR4x memory. With this processor, the 144Hz refresh rate and resolution is 2520×1080 pixels. Talking about the camera, it has a 108-megapixel, a 32-megapixel and a 16-megapixel support.
