Nokia’s cheap smartphone launched in India: Nokia C22 will get 6.5-inch display with IP52 certification, starting price ₹ 7,999.

Nokia, a company owned by HMD Global, has launched the Nokia C22 in the Indian market in the low-budget smartphone segment. The company has introduced this smartphone launched in C series with IP52 certification, which keeps the phone safe from dust and water.


Nokia C22 is available with Charcoal, Purple and Sand color options. The company has promised to provide security updates for 2 years with the smartphone. However, the company will not provide operating system (OS) updates.

The company has launched the smartphone in two variants. Its 2GB RAM + 64GB storage variant costs Rs 7,999 and the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant costs Rs 8,499. Nokia C22 has become available for buyers on the company’s official website.

Display: Nokia C22 has a 6.5-inch LCD display with 720×1,600 pixel resolution. The aspect ratio of the display is 20:9.


Hardware and Software: For performance, the Octacore Unisoc SC9863A processor has been given in the phone. This smartphone works on Android 13 Go Edition operating system.


Camera: Dual camera setup of 13MP + 2MP is available in the phone for photography. An 8MP camera has been provided with Water Notch design for selfie and video calling.


Battery and Charging: The company claims that this smartphone has a battery that lasts for 3 days, which supports 10W charging. However, the company did not tell how many mAh battery has been given in it.


Connectivity and Safety Option: This smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel of the phone with face unlock. Connectivity features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3.5 mm jack have been provided in the phone.
