Samsung (January 3) introduced four new models to its smart monitor lineup at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2023). The company has introduced Odyssey Neo G9 (Odyssey Neo G9) in the ultra-wide display category along with Odyssey, ViewFinity series. The Odyssey Neo G9 is claimed to be the world’s first single monitor with dual Ultra-HD resolution. Apart from this, Samsung has also introduced Odyssey OLED G9 Curved Display Monitor and Viewfinity S9 5K Monitor with (5,120x 2,880 pixels) resolution. The company has also showcased a new 27-inch variant of the Smart Monitor M8.
Specifications of Samsung Odyssey Neo G9
The model name of Samsung’s new Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor is G95NC. This monitor gets a large 57-inch 1000R curved display, which offers (7,680×2,160 pixels) resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and 32:9 aspect ratio. The monitor sports a matte display to reduce reflections and includes DisplayPort 2.1 support, which is claimed to transfer data almost twice as fast as DisplayPort 1.4.

Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 flaunts dual quad-HD 49-inch 1800R curved display with 32:9 aspect ratio, 0.1ms response time, and 240Hz refresh rate. The monitor’s OLED display illuminates each pixel individually, with a 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, according to Samsung. The Odyssey Neo G9 comes with Samsung Gaming Hub onboard which allows users to stream games to the cloud on Xbox cloud gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now platform.

The Samsung ViewFinity S9 sports a 27-inch matte display with 5,120 x 2,880-pixel resolution and 99 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. The monitor has been designed with creative professionals in mind. Users can adjust the white balance, gamma and RGB color balance of the monitor through the Samsung Smart Calibration app on their smartphone. For connectivity, it includes USB Type-C port and Thunderbolt 4. ViewFinity S9 has a 4K camera for video calling.
Samsung Smart Monitor M8
The latest version of the Samsung Smart Monitor M8 offers a 32-inch display model. The model gets a 4K display, height adjustable stand and a camera with 2K resolution for video conferencing. The monitor comes in four color options Daylight Blue, Spring Green, Sunset Pink and Warm White.
