Motorola may launch Snapdragon 888 processor smartphone soon
Smartphone companies are vying to launch the first smartphone with Snapdragon 888 processor. Xiaomi and Realme have already confirmed the launch of the phone with the latest chipset. Now Motorola is also going to enter this list. According to reports, the Motorola phone with Snapdragon 888 may be launched soon.
At the moment, there is little information about the Motorola phones that come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. Jin, an executive from Lenovo, has posted pictures of the retail box of the upcoming phone. According to reports, it may be a Motorola phone with Snapdragon 888 processor.
According to PhoneArena report, Motorola launched the flagship-level phone with Edge Plus in April this year. This 5G enabled Edge Plus smartphone is available to buy online for around Rs 65,000. The phone has 12 GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, 108 megapixel camera and 5000mAh battery.
Talking about phones with Snapdragon 888 processors, they are expected to be launched next year. According to the report, Xiaomi will first bring the latest chipset phone. The Chinese handset company will launch its M11 smartphone series in China on 28 December. Apart from Snapdragon 888, this phone is expected to have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, Quad HD+ display and 4780mAh battery.
Speaking of Snapdragon 888, it comes with a big upgrade as compared to the previous processor. Talking about Qualcomm’s benchmark results, with this new chipset, better performance will be found in other departments including CPU, graphics and AI.
Another report suggests that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor will not be as powerful as Apple’s A14 and A13 chipsets. According to Anandtech, Snapdragon 888 scored lower than Apple’s flagship processor in the GFX and Geekbench 5 benchmark tests.
